Baltimore Bridges Math and Art

On the road this summer in Baltimore to participate in a conference and an exhibition devoted to mathematics and art.  The event is under the heading Bridges, if you google it, you will find a long history of art exhibitions featuring many people not known in the artworld.  In fact there seems to be a divide between art and math, which this show ( and conference ) is working to dispel.  When I think of how bridges are built between mathematics and art, I can conjure up images by M.C. Escher, Sol Lewitt, and sculpture by Kenneth Snelson.  Maybe the most famous image that relates art and math is a print by Albrecht Durer
